We Found the River :)

One of the special things about being in Coosawattee River Resort is the RIVER, of course. Another one of the special things is just being in north Georgia and having the season changes. Very different from NE Florida, for sure.

Below are a couple of pics taken one morning while we were there. Just a light dusting of snow. Nothing major but for this Florida girl any white stuff is major!! Pretty cool, huh?...literally, right? Funny thing is we met a guy who lives way over on the other side of Coosawattee. He said they had no snow at all at his house. We felt "special." ha!


New Year's weekend 2012.

 

There are three pools. Two pools are outside and open May - September. The other pool is enclosed so we have access to it 365 days a year. The enclosed pool is at the REC CENTER and only about a mile from THE NEST.

There are three camping parks; all by the river. So nice!!




FISH TRAP PARK
Suspension bridge over the river where you can walk over to get to the one of the outdoor pools. (you can also drive there).
